I enjoyed the control and ralley like exerience that the first Dirt game presented. This game feels too much like an arcade game for me to take seriously. They stripped out a lot of the car set-up controls, and you have to now use the time trials modes to practice on different tracks. This is confusing because the event names don't line up with the course names. I just wish there was a simple practice option before each event, instead of having to guess what track the event will be run on.
The game has also lost a lot of its international flair, and has too many 'x-game' type events.
On the positive side, the graphics are very good, and the logic that controls the replays has been improved, and they are enjoyable to watch.Get more detail about Dirt 2.
