I love Samba de Amigo. I've never played it on Dreamcast, so I can't compare it to the original, but I think it's a really great game. The music is great and the graphics are so bright and colorful that it's like watching a party unfold on your TV screen! The little "extra" challenges, like Mr. Pose, are lots of fun and are a great addition to the usual maraca shaking.
I'm not sure if it's my motion sensor or if it's something that's common to all games, but in some of the mini games, such as the dancing game, it's not always very accurate at picking up hand positions, which renders some of them virtually unplayable, and that's disappointing. However, since it's not crucial to the main gameplay, I don't mind that very much.
It's possible to play this game alone, but it's much more fun to play with a group, because there's nothing quite as funny as watching other people make fools of themselves. Just remember... it's your turn eventually.Get more detail about Samba De Amigo.
